Starcover Health and Social Care Limited is a CQC-registered provider, founded and led by Registered Nurses and experienced healthcare professionals with a combined clinical experience of over 25 years across the health and social care sector.

We understand high-quality care because we have delivered it firsthand. Our team brings experience from secondary care, community health, supported living, secure mental health services, learning disability services, prison primary care, and we specialise in Treatment of Disease, Disorder, or Injury (TDDI), giving us genuine clinical insight and a strong understanding of complex needs.

Every member of our workforce receives bespoke, role-specific training and is supported by experienced Clinical Leads. Mental health support is led by a qualified Mental Health Specialist Nurse, while complex physical health needs are overseen by a Registered General Nurse.

What we deliver

At Starcover, we provide far more than domiciliary care. As a CQC-registered provider under the regulated activity of Treatment of Disease, Disability or Injury, we deliver clinically led, 24/7 care and support across homes, community settings, and specialist healthcare environments.

Every support package is tailored to the individual. Through comprehensive assessment and regular review, we ensure care remains appropriate, effective, and responsive to changing needs.

With over 20 years of experience in managing social care agencies, Sam has been dedicated to supporting individuals in living independently since 2004. They have successfully overseen large care portfolios and received multiple entrepreneurial awards, including the prestigious Zim Achievers Award. Having started as an agency staff member, they are deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive work environment for care professionals

Registered Manager & Registered General Nurse

With over 22 years of experience as a qualified nurse, Margaret brings extensive clinical expertise and leadership to her role as Registered Manager & Clinical Lead at Starcover. Her background spans secondary care, including HDU, general surgery, oncology, and colorectal services, prison primary care, and the management of complex care packages for individuals with co-occurring physical, mental health, and neurodevelopmental needs. As Registered Manager, she oversees clinical governance, quality assurance, safeguarding, workforce development, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the highest standards of safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

Marlene Stewart

Clinical Lead / Registered Mental Health Practitioner

With over 20 years of experience in health and social care, Marlene is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Complex Care Manager specialising in complex mental health support, safeguarding, and clinical leadership. Her extensive background includes acute mental health services, prison mental health, addiction and substance misuse services, and the management of specialist mental health care homes. As Complex Care Manager at Starcover, she provides clinical oversight and supervision for staff supporting individuals with mental health needs, promoting safe, recovery-focused, evidence-based care while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and person-centred support.

A Registered Mental Health Nurse with 15+ years of clinical and nursing leadership, Lee has extensive experience across care homes, secure hospitals, domiciliary care, and end-of-life care. As a Clinical Lead, he manages a large team of RGNs and RMNs, driven by a passion for improving clients' quality of life.
